The second I laid eyes on the Lola’s Lashes Rose Quartz Magnetic Eyelashes and Eyeliner Kit, I understood why it had hundreds of 5-star reviews. The set was easily the most natural and attractive falsies in the bunch, plus it scored highly in usability, being the hands-down easiest to apply and remove. We put 9 of the most highly rated options we could find to the test to see which ones live up to the hype.ĭuring our extensive testing process, we found a clear front runner: Lola’s Lashes Rose Quartz Magnetic Eyelashes and Eyeliner Kit Though it may sound like something straight out of a science fiction movie, the beauty product is quickly gaining steam because it’s a supposedly simple way to apply fake lashes, requiring only a steady hand with liquid eyeliner. Rather than tend with strip lashes and tacky lash glue, this type of false eyelashes adhere to your lids thanks to the power of tiny and discreet magnets in the lash band and corresponding liquid eyeliner that contains magnet-attracting iron. And now there’s a trendy new way to add length and volume to your lids: magnetic lashes. Overall not a 5-star product for me but it fulfills the companies claims and is definitely the best value for home lash kits $$-wise from the companies I researched.Whether you rely on a great mascara or a pair of falsies to do the job, there’s nothing like that oomph of enhancing your eyelashes to make you appear more bright-eyed and even flirty. I'll try trimming a future set into smaller segments to space out for a more natural look. My last comment is that these are quite intense for "shorties." I wanted to skip the daily mascara step (mission accomplished) and still have a defined, yet natural look (not quite it). That being said they did hold up overnight despite my tendency to sleep on my side! I wore my first set for 2 nights, and about 2.5 days before removing by soaking my lash roots with some Micellar water on a q-tip. The adhesive strategy is my biggest dislike about these: with glue just at the base, the length of the lashes can get droopy- I'd prefer a mascara style adhesive system to make sure they're positioned securely. I did have to do a couple segments over because they didn't adhere quite right the first time. For application technique, their site and YT have plenty of tutorials so I'm just posting my opinion/experience!Īpplying these lashes was pleasantly doable despite my complete lack of false lash experience. I'm not affiliated with them at all, I just searched Reddit before ordering and couldn't find any reviews. There is an allergen free adhesive available as well. The ones I purchased (Shorties) were $30 for 6 sets, and about $6 for the glue (I bought clear because they were sold out of black).
